Racing to Save Lives

In memory of "BO"

Months ago Katlyn Cronin, & Brendan O'Leary started training for a very special Marathon.

In preparation, Katlyn, Brendan and their friend Critty participated in the North Country Triathlon as a member of the Leukenia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) "Team In Training". They began raising funds to help find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and mylenoma. They completed this event in honor of BO O'Leary who passed away from Leukemia on April 14th of this year. This was a race that "B enjoyed and participed in the past as the swimmer of the Triathlon team.

On a beautiful love filled day, October 3rd, Katlyn accomplished her mission at the Maine Marathon by finishing the race in 3:48:50 with the help of her family and friends cheering her on.

Her other accomplishment was that she was able to raise funds for LLS in excess of $3530, in honor of BO . One way was to sell Team BO T-shirts, which are still available for a donation to the LLS society....you can email her at katlyn.cronin@gmail.com
